Chalk Couture Unboxing

Back before Christmas I saw Ken of Ken’s Kreations live on YouTube or FaceBook working with a relatively new product called Chalk Couture, and as usual, he was VERY excited about it. I watched that video, and several videos that came later, and his excitement never waned. But I just wasn’t sure it was for me. I loved the results of the products, but you were limited to using Chalk Couture’s products. I had no problem with buying the chalk paste, but being restricted to the stencils they had at the time just didn’t seem worth it for me. But I continued to watch Ken, and I continued to question if this were something I’d want to invest in.

Fast forward to the beginning of the new year, and Chalk Couture decided to innovate. They’ve only been in business since July of ’17, so for them to expand so soon was a bit impressive. What they added to their lineup of products is Chalk Ink! And this is the product that swayed me into investing in their $99 dollar starter kit. Now I wasn’t limited to making chalkboards or putting chalk on cabinets or walls because honestly, that stuff just isn’t me. Nope, now I could make things that would be useful . . . t-shirts, onesies, aprons, mugs, plates, and the list goes on. Now this is something I can get behind and really see myself doing for a while.

So I took the time this past week to actually unbox the starter get on FaceBook live along with my first big order.

What I soon realized in doing the unboxing was that there was soooooo much potential for doing your own designs with the stencils you have. Originally, I was thinking you just used one stencil and everything everyone created would look really close to the same. But that is sooooooo not the case. You can design by mixing any stencils together that you want.

I’m excited to start using the Chalk Couture products. It feels fresh and new and sometimes that’s just what you want. If you find this as intriguing as I do, check out my store. You can buy just enough product to do the project you have in mind, or you might decide to take the plunge and join my team. Either way, you’re sure to have fun.
